What is REIGN?

REIGN is a premium ad-supported and subscription streaming video on-demand service that delivers the best selection of curated African American and urban culture themed content available.

REIGN will allow you to discover and enjoy the best and most authentic African American and urban culture themed video content, where, when and how you choose.

As a REIGN subscriber, you will be able to choose from a wide selection of content categories such as: comedy, drama, suspense, thriller, horror, romance, documentary, faith & inspiration, stand-up comedy, sci-fi, lifestyle, reality, music concerts and short films. REIGN’s program offerings will also be updated monthly to ensure that you always have something new to explore.

REIGN will allow you to access its service wherever you feel like watching – via your mobile device, desktop computer or wifi-connected TV. REIGNis available on web, iOS, Android, Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, Apple TV and Android TV.

How much is a REIGN subscription?

There are two types of REIGN subscriptions to choose from:

  1. Monthly Subscription: $4.99/Month
  2. Annual (Yearly) Subscription: $47.99/Year

What is Cleeng and what does it do for REIGN users?

REIGN has partnered with Cleeng to manage its video eCommerce activities. Cleeng is a reputable expert solution in this field. Cleeng simplifies the access to unique quality content. Using your E-mail address, Facebook or Google account, it takes just a few seconds to create a Cleeng account and then purchase access to REIGN using Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal. You can track your purchase in Settings through the content library and connect on any of your devices.

Note, Cleeng does not own any content rights on REIGN.

How do I use my promo code?

Promo codes are only activated when signing up on our website at http://reign.com. If you have a promo code, please follow the instructions below for activating your subscription with a promo code:

  • Visit: https://reign.com/
  • Click LOGIN in the top right corner of the homepage
  • Choose how you would like to connect (Facebook, Google+, Email)
  • Enter your email address, password & “I am new.”
  • Click CREATE ACCOUNT
  • Click SELECT next to the ‘Monthly Subscription’ if you have a monthly promo code, or ‘Annual Subscription’ if you have an annual promo code.
  • In the top right corner, click REDEEM COUPON
  • Enter your promo code and click ACTIVATE
  • Enter your first name and last name.
  • Agree to the terms of service and decide if you want to receive REIGN emails by checking the box.
  • Click CONFIRM
  • Choose how your payment* method (CC or PayPal)
  • Complete payment information and confirm registration.

In addition to streaming on our website, you can access REIGN by downloading the app on Roku, Apple TV, iOS, Android, FireTV, AndroidTV and Chromecast. Once you download the app, just sign in with the username and password you created on the site.

*NOTE: Your REIGN paid membership begins after your free trial period ends. You can cancel at any time within the length of the trial at no cost.

Is REIGN in mobile devices?

Yes, it is! When you click to register/buy, your mobile browser will open a new window. After you have created your Cleeng account and purchased your subscription, just go back to https://reign.com

You can connect from your computer, phone or tablet anytime you want to. If you got registered or purchased your subscription on a different device, simply login with your Cleeng account and you’ll get full access.

Can I watch REIGN from different computers or phones at the same time?

Yes, when you registered/purchased on one computer/tablet/phone you can simply use the same credentials to watch on another device. You should bear in mind your access can be restricted when our systems detect abuse or too many users at the same time.

Do I need to download anything to watch REIGN?

No, once you have a subscription you have instant access to the videos on http://video.reign.com. It works on PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone. But you have to ensure you have a proper broadband connection to view our videos.

Can I stream REIGN on a big screen using Chromecast?

Yes. Download the iOS or Android apps to your phone to begin using our Chromecast function. You will need to have a Chromecast already enabled on your TV. Cast your favorite entertainment from your phone or tablet straight to the TV. Use Chrome browser and follow the steps as explained on the official Chromecast pages:

Is REIGN available on Apple devices?

Yes. You can easily access REIGN on any Apple device by downloading our app from the iOS app store or the Apple TV app store.

If you already have an account, simply login with the username and password you signed up with. If you do not already have an account, simply sign up and follow the directions on the screen, or on http://reign.com.

Is there a free trial period?

You can sign up or a two-week free trial with the monthly subscription or a annual subscription and sample some of the world’s best television and films. If you decide to continue you will be billed monthly or annually and are free to unsubscribe at any time.

How do I update my payment method?

To update or remove your payment method to remove your credit card info from your account, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to http://video.reign.com and log in.
  2. Click the avatar in the top right corner and select My Account.
  3. Click the ‘Change’ button next to ‘Payment details’.
  4. Enter your credit card info or click the Switch to PayPal button in order to use PayPal.

Is my credit card secure?

Yes, fully! Your profile, balance and access information are securely stored on Cleeng servers.

All transactions are done on Cleeng servers using 256bits SSL encryption, and payment processing meets the highest PCI compliance standards.

My payment is rejected, what can I do?

It might be that your bank is refusing the payment, so you may try to contact them (see phone number at the back of your card).

Alternatively, please try to use a different payment method.

Refund requests

Cleeng only processes a ‘Refund request’ by sending an email to help@reign.com. Requesting a refund does not mean it will be granted automatically. For your purchase and the refund process the Cleeng Terms & Conditions apply.

A User will be automatically granted a refund, 24-72 hours after the refund request was submitted, only in the following cases:

  1. A User made a double/multiple purchase using the same registration/login data.
  2. The content was misleading – the description didn’t relate to actual content of the video.

Why hasn’t my REIGN subscription renewed?

By default, all subscriptions are renewed automatically. However, sometimes you may notice that your subscription plan wasn’t automatically renewed. In such case, you get an automated email notification and 48 hours to act upon this feedback.

There are two main reasons for a failed renewal:

  1. Your bank doesn’t accept the transaction due to its own internal policies.

Solution: Please contact your bank directly to obtain more information.

  1. Your credit card has expired

Solution: update your credit card details in your account. Simply click on the link we send you in the automated notification email or log in at www.reign.com with your email and password, click on ‘Settings’ and update your credit card info.

** After 48 hours if there is no action from your side, the auto-renewal won’t be possible anymore and your subscription will be automatically cancelled. You will need to subscribe again to start a new subscription cycle.

How do I cancel my REIGN subscription?

First, login to your Cleeng account via www.reign.com This account was automatically created when you purchased your subscription – use the same email and password to log in.

Once you have logged in you will see your profile details, under the subscription section you can click ‘Unsubscribe’ and you will be unsubscribed and not billed from your next payment cycle.

The video quality is bad, what can I do?

Control and test your internet connection. Try reloading the page a few times or see if you can access the video from another browser and/or device. If you need further assistance, email help@reign.com.

I have problems accessing REIGN. What can I do?

There are a few options are available:

Option 1: Search your email inbox for ‘Cleeng receipt’, also check your Spam/Junk folder. Once found, click on the link inside the description and re-enter your credentials if necessary. Make sure you use the same email address or Facebook/Google access as you did for your initial purchase. It should work!

Option 2: Clear your browser cache. You can find how to do it here. Then follow Option 1.

Option 3: If it still doesn’t work, possibly your initial order didn’t go through. Please place another order. File a refund inquiry by emailing help@reign.com and mentioning your Cleeng receipt number(s). We’ll proceed with refunds within 72 hours after the inquiry.
